A Journey from Trauma to Good Things
My real name is Dariusz. It comes from Persia, and in its original form — Dārayavahuš — it means "possessor of good things." Since the moment I discovered the meaning of my name, I’ve tried to live in alignment with it — to fill my life with only good things.
But it wasn’t always that way.
For many years, I carried the invisible weight of trauma. Not just my own, but the generational pain passed down through my family. That burden left deep imprints on my physical and emotional health. I ignored the warning signs, pushed through the pain, and paid the price with my wellbeing. Rebuilding my health has been one of the greatest challenges of my life — but also one of the most rewarding.
I’m still on that journey. And I’d like to share it with you.

🌱 Healing Through “Good Things”
Health isn’t just about what you eat or how much you exercise. It’s also about what you carry inside. And for years, I carried too much.
It wasn’t until I started unpacking my trauma — both personal and inherited — that real healing began. I focused on integrating “good things” into every part of my life. Nutrient-dense food. Purposeful movement. Nature. Stillness. Honest self-reflection. Supportive relationships. Knowledge. Spiritual connection. All of these became pillars of my recovery.
And slowly, I changed.
Today, at 49 years old, my metabolic age is 33. I’m professionally fulfilled, physically active, and even after an accident two years ago that left me with lasting injuries, I continue to move forward. Not just in body — but in mind and soul.

🔥 Let’s Talk About Trauma
In this post, I want to talk openly about trauma — something that affects far more of us than we realise.
Trauma limits us. It blocks joy, clouds decisions, erodes self-worth, and holds us back in our careers, relationships, and even physical health. It doesn’t have to be dramatic to be damaging. It might be the silent weight of an emotionally distant parent, the fear passed down from war-torn generations, or the self-doubt picked up in childhood that we mistake for our personality.
Some of this trauma is ours. Some of it is ancestral — pain carried down through the DNA and energy fields of families for generations.
I’ve learned — through lived experience and relentless curiosity — that healing is possible. But only if we first acknowledge it. You can’t fix what you don’t see.

Why I’m Sharing My Story
Everything I write comes from personal experience and from years of research, deep reading, and introspection.I don’t claim to have all the answers. But I do have a story — one that may sound a little like yours. And if my journey helps even one person take the first step toward healing, then this sharing will have served its purpose.
I invite you to join me as I explore what it really means to reclaim your health, your peace, and your power — one “good thing” at a time.
Let’s walk this path together.
Because you, too, deserve to be a possessor of good things.
